Dr. Prasad. B. Roodagi is the professor and Director of KLES's Institute of Management Studies and Research, Hubli. He holds a PhD degree from the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
He possesses 15 years of qualitative experience in Teaching/ Student Management and Administration. He has worked as a Resource person for various orientation workshops and has experience of coaching students through interactive means and "hands-on" approaches to help them learn and apply subject concepts effectively.
He has proved beyond doubt his Brand building abilities of an Institute. He constantly keeps in touch and meets special education teachers to implement special education programmes. He is very keen and enthusiastic about organising events that set a new trend in North Karnataka. A recent star studded event "Unleash your Talent" based on a popular legendary movie 3 idiots concept was talk of the town that aimed at testing student's creativity and bringing about positive social changes in society through students.
Dr. P. B Roodagi is a post graduate in Business Administration (MBA) with the background of B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He teaches Marketing Management, Production and Operations Management, Entrepreneurship Development and Industrial Marketing.
He was part of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahemadabad, Workshop on "Case Writing/Analysis" at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, Mumbai, "Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) on Teaching Methodology in Entrepreneurship Development" at TAPMI, Manipal, Two International conferences one on Entrepreneurship Development an other on Sales Management at TAPMI, Manipal.
Dr. P. B Roodagi has worked with various corporate houses in Bangalore and Mumbai. He has been the Managing Committee Member and Editor-in-chief for the news bulletin, North Karnataka Management Association, Hubli. He has presented paper on "Developing Industry - Institute Interface: Issues & Strategies at Association of Indian Management Schools." and on Gennext: 1H & 5Ws of Commerce and Management Teaching at the National Seminar organized by D. M College of Commerce, Mapusa GOA. He has designed, developed & customized training programmes / teaching curriculum for the students. Also, lectured, organised and co-ordinated extensively various workshops, events and seminars.
